Hon. Aniekan Uko Iboroakam report card

“May I in all humility, thank all those who have commented on my posts in the social media on my intent to run for the seat of Ibesikpo Asutan in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly come 2015.
In matters concerning politics, one’s ideological orientation is very critical.
I am socialised in a culture of service, humility and fellow – feeling, those who have had any dealing with me can attest to this.
In the past I have campaigned for so many including the incumbent House of Assembly member (i.e. the Person that served before me) which I was the Director General of his Campaign, therefore I can vividly without any fear of contradiction say; I understand the Political terrain of Ibesikpo Asutan more than every other person that is willing to join the race.
I promise my constituents of robust legislative engagements that shall be classified as EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION,
Oversight functions of a legislator is a part I’m very familiar with as a former councillor, human empowerment and constituency briefings I understand its tenates, and I know it’s one thing that will be bringing me closer to my people even as I live with them.
I will represent you as a Statesman.
Let me be very clear on this; the difference between a statesman and a politician is that, “A politician places people at his service, while a statesman is a one who places himself at the service of the people”.
I am for Service therefore I will represent you as Statesman.
This is my humble pledge when given the mandate to serve.
I will administer Ibesikpo Asutan as a Statesman not like a politician.
I believe that service rendered to people in humility is the utmost good and that is what is known as EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION”

I am your IBOROAKAM……..Just believe!!!
